Ontario Greenbelt last night participated in a fabulous foodie fundraiser for Haiti relief.
The event, which saw dozens of restaurants and wineries donate their delicious wares, was the brainchild of Joel Solish and Suresh Doss.
The venue was generously donated by Roy Thompson Hall. All funds raised go to Doctors Without Borders, and though it’s not known yet exactly how much was raised I have no doubt it was a huge success.
The Greenbelt Foundation partnered with local food champions Brad Long (Veritas & My Place: A Canadian Pub) and Mark Cutrera (Cowbell) to show our support and up the local food presence at the event.
Congrats to the organizers, proprietors, volunteers and to Doctors without Borderss. A great event for truly worthy cause.
