Jane's Walk Toronto
Walking the Line, to the Rouge River

This walk leads participants through "an energy corridor that runs through Toronto, Scarborough, and the Morningside Heights community." Walk leaders will discuss the history First Peoples who resided in the Rouge Park, flora and fauna, storm-water management ponds, and the pipelines that run beneath the Hydro lines as well as the "implications of using one of these pipelines to transport diluted bitumen from the Alberta Tar Sands."
