Join TVOKids at Country Heritage Park in Milton on July 18, 2009

Toronto, July 7 2009 —TVOKids presents a fun outing for the whole family on Saturday July 18. Spend the afternoon with TVOKids at the All Colour Antique Tractor and Toy Show at Country Heritage Park, 8560 Tremaine Road, in Milton, Ontario.

Meet your favourite TVOKids hosts Jackie and Ryan and their superhero guest Enviro Girl. Join them in entertaining Heritage Park activities, enjoy live TVOKids stage show performances, and get host autographs. The first 400 kids will receive a free TVOKids Greenbelt Adventure 100% recyclable gift tote-bag, filled with exciting Greenbelt Adventure giveaways. TVOKids will be taping at the farm all day, and you might get to see yourself on TV in TVOKids’ afterschool programming block The Space or online at tvokids.com.

Schedule of TVOKids activities on Saturday July 18

12:00 pm: TVOKids Greenbelt Adventure Show – TVOKids hosts tell you more about the Ontario Greenbelt, sing the Greenbelt song, “Come on, Let’s Go,” and share the excitement of the day.
12:30 pm: TVOKids joins the Pedal Tractor and Pedal Harness Horse Driving. 
2:30 pm: TVOKids Greenbelt Adventure Show.
3:15 pm: TVOKids joins the Lawn Tractor Pull.
3:45 pm: TVOKids joins the Lawn Tractor Race.
4:15 pm: Autographs – TVOKids hosts Jackie and Ryan will be signing autographs until 5 pm. And they have free gift bags for the first 400 kids!

The park is open from 9 am to 5 pm. Regular admission prices apply.

TVO is participating in the All Colour Antique Tractor and Toy Show at Country Heritage Park as part of TVOKids Greenbelt Adventure, a joint project with the Friends of the Greenbelt Foundation. The largest in the world, Ontario’s Greenbelt is home to some of the most valuable farmland and protected green space in Canada. The aim of the Greenbelt Adventure Project is to increase children’s and families’ awareness of our Greenbelt, inspire them to explore its treasures and engage in continuous efforts to help protect it.
