From Niagara to Northumberland the Greenbelt has plenty of ways to spend the May long weekend. No matter what you’re looking for whether it be ingredients for your BBQ, a bike route, or just taking a stroll in the woods we have the resources to help you plan the best long-weekend possible.

Farmers’ Markets – They’re opening up around the Greenbelt which means you can grab your favourite meats, breads, veggies, and beer for your BBQ this long weekend.

Brewery Discovery Routes – We did the planning for you! Visit one (or more) of the breweries listed in our itineraries that will help you discover Ontario’s craft brewery scene.  Pint in hand, sit back, relax, and take it easy.

Greenbelt Route – Love biking? So do we! Developed by the Waterfront Regeneration Trust these biking trails will take you through natural features, cultural attractions, and local amenities, making it easy to explore the Greenbelt.

Greenbelt Walks – It’s unbelievable how much variety the Greenbelt holds, from marshes and wetlands, to forests and ravines, to meadows, rivers, fields, and more. Check out our Greenbelt Walks to find a hike near you and discover the Greenbelt.
