Whether capturing the scenic beauty of a winding river or waterfall, or showing the joy of recreation that water resources provide, we encourage you to capture what clean, protected waterways mean to you.
Photos must be taken in the Greenbelt or in any of the proposed urban river valleys and coastal wetlands. We look forward to seeing images of water in all forms and seasons. View the latest entries in our gallery!
Submissions opened on October 3, 2016 and close on January 10, 2017. Winners will be selected by a jury from the three sponsoring organizations and announced in February. The winning images will be showcased at the esteemed McMichael Canadian Art Collection before touring the Greenbelt. View last year's winning photographs here.
Entries must be the property of the photographer on whose behalf the photo(s) are submitted, and adhere to the contest rules and conditions. Download the photographic release form if your photo contains people or private property.
