Autumn Festivals & Fairs

Autumn is here and bringing its bounty with it. Celebrate October in the Greenbelt at these festivals and fairs.

Markham Fall Fair 
October 2 – 5
Markham Fair is one of Canada’s oldest country fairs. It promotes excellence through friendly competition and features various forms of entertainment such as the horse pull, demolition derby, tractor pull, midway rides and displays of farm animals.

Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show, Simcoe 
October 7 - 13 
Horse, Cattle, Swine, Llamas, Sheep & Goat Shows Daily. Free Grandstand and Entertainment Shows. Junior Fair, School Displays, Agricultural Awareness, Kid's World and World's Finest Shows Midway.

Burford Fall Fair, Brantford

Demo derbies, Mini Tractor pulls, Petting zoo, Craft & Specialty Exhibits, Baby Show, Lawn Mower Races, Musical shows, Agricultural Awareness, Midway.

Rockton Worlds Fair 
October 10 - 13
Expanded Agricultural/Education Programme on Friday Excellent Children's & Family Entertainment, Huge Heavy Horses, Large Black & White & Coloured Dairy Show, Expanded Ag-Alive Tent, 2 New Showrings, Campbell's Midway.

Woodbridge Fair 
October 11 - 13 
Pioneer Community, Vegetable Buildings, Midway, Children's Village, School Exhibits, International Music Entertainment, Cow Milking Contest, Crafts, Baking & Antiques, Bingo Tent, Farm Animals, Petting Zoo, Horse & Buggy Rides, Antique Appraiser, Scavenger Hunt with passport and prizes, Giant Pumpkin contest.


Lincoln Fair 
September 4 - 7 
Come out and celebrate the 150th anniversary of this wonderful “Victorian Country Fair.” On September 7th, Grade 4 students will learn about the importance of local agriculture as participants of the 1st Annual Grade 4 Niagara Agri Education Day

Cabbagetown Festival 
September 7 - 9
Take a stroll in Riverdale Park and check out the Arts & Crafts on display. Or catch the People’s Parade on Saturday morning. Whatever your interests, there is tons to do and see throughout the Cabbagetown community.

Feast of Fields 
September 7
Feast of Fields will be an afternoon of indulgence on the pastures of Everdale Organic Farm, featuring abundant samples of local wines, craft beers and farm-fresh organic delicacies created by top southern Ontario chefs.
