This cross country Greenbelt cruise starts and ends in the town of Port Perry. From the shores of Lake Scugog, pedal through town with stops for pre-ride refreshments, before navigating quiet residential streets that soon stretch out into rural farmlands. Enjoy the sweeping views on either side of Old Simcoe Road, and of the Oak Ridges Moraine towards Lake Ontario. Go north on Ashburn Rd and take in the rich agricultural lands. Ride the last 6km back in town along Scugog Line 6 past forest and marshland. Back in Port Perry admire the well kept Victorian architectures and store fronts on Queen Street, home to a grand collection of shops, cafes, patios, and bakeries.
