Pick-Your-Own and Fun on a Farm
About this Trip
Enjoy a day picking your own produce at this family-run 50 acre fruit and vegetable farm.
Meet the folks who grow our food and learn about farming with a tour of the fields and farm. Have fun picking your own produce and picnicking in the fields. The farm grows raspberries, tomatoes, peas, sweet corn, fava beans and pumpkins, and has recently introduced fresh cut daily sunflowers and gladiolas!
Plan to arrive at the Farm between 10 and 11 a.m. Murphy’s Country Produce is located about an hour out of Toronto and about 30 minutes from Hamilton. We suggest hiring a tour bus for the day.
Murphy’s Country Produce is located at 2040 Guyatt Road, R.R. # 1, Binbrook, ON L0R 1C0 and is not accessible by public transit. Free parking is available on site.
Begin the day with a welcome from a member of the farm’s staff, who will tell you about the farm and give you a tour. Then, the group will be taken out into the fields to pick-your-own produce – strawberries, peas, green beans, fava beans, raspberries, zucchini, melons, cucumbers, pickling cucumbers, eggplant, tomatoes, romano beans, sweet and hot peppers, pumpkins, and squash. Please call to see what’s in season.
After fruit and vegetable picking, enjoy a picnic on the beautiful open space of the farm.
Visit the on-farm market stand to browse produce, baked goods, jams, honey, maple syrup, and more before you leave Murphy’s Country Produce.
