REQUEST FOR SERVICES - STRATEGIC AND PROGRAM PLANNING

Greenbelt Foundation

 PURPOSE

The Greenbelt Foundation is seeking planning support from qualified individuals or professional service firms to assist in:

1. Engagement of key internal and external stakeholders to inform preliminary strategic planning at an organizational and individual program(s) level;
2. Program level planning for key strategic initiatives to augment and refine existing program goals and models; and/or
3. Organizational strategic planning that will update our existing strategic framework and provide the basis for operational planning and enhanced performance monitoring.

Depending on responses received the Foundation may chose to work with one or more proponent but our goal would be to engage a single individual or firm.

SPECIFIC OUTCOMES

We will be seeking expertise advise, process facilitation and other support as well as other related services to deliver the following outcomes:

1. Board strategic planning session(s)
2. Design and delivery of Engagement Tables as outlined further below
3. Updated high-level Strategic Vision and Framework
4. Detailed Strategic Plan and Program Plans

Note that we currently have a first Board strategy session scheduled for September 15, 2021.

Timing and scope of other aspects of the above can be developed in collaboration with Foundation CEO and other leadership.

TIMELINE

We are seeking to commence planning with a selected vendor in early September 2021 and initial engagement of our Board on September 15^th. Our preference would be to undertake overall activities during a 60 to 90 day period.

The Foundation is seeking a simplified Proposal (ideally not to exceed 7 to 10 pages) no later than 5:00pm, August 25, 2021
