Partner Resources

We need your help to increase public awareness in this exciting new tourism destination.

Dear Greenbelt Route Stakeholder,

As you’re aware, the Greenbelt Route has arrived: a new, signed 475 km cycling route around the Greater Golden Horseshoe. We now need your help to increase public awareness of this exciting, permanent tourist attraction.

The Greenbelt Route was created to make it easier for Ontarians to access the natural beauty of the Greenbelt. It connects dozens of rural communities, encouraging tourists to cycle to their destinations and support local economies by spending more dollars on the unique and delicious products available in your region.

The new website is now live, and getting a great reception from the cycling community. By inserting a link to the Greenbelt Route on your website, you will be connecting your visitors to a wealth of valuable free content including a fully interactive online map containing over 1000 points of interest, as well as 34 regional bike maps (print-ready) and seven day-trip itineraries.

We are pleased to share a digital package arming you with the tools to easily and effectively communicate about the Greenbelt Route. Designed especially for you and other tourism and cycling partners, it includes:

  • Social media content (canned tweets and a set of fact-photos designed for twitter)
  • Greenbelt Route logos (full colour, and black and white versions) and the Greenbelt Route brand standards manual
  • Testimonials from several participants in the inaugural Greenbelt Route ride in August 2015
  • Folded paper maps (digital version, as well as how to get hard copies)
