Wildflowers in Louth with Greening Niagara
Jane's Walks: Greening Niagara
Hosted by: Greening Niagara
Greening Niagara, a Niagara based non-profit focused on environmental education and community projects, is organizing a series of guided walks throughout Niagara’s Greenbelt to highlight the value of protecting local biodiversity, the unique geologic landforms, and the issue of urban encroachment into rural areas. The first of these walks will coincide with Jane’s Walks throughout the world—a series of community-led walks inspired by author and journalist, Jane Jacobs. These walks will start on May 3, and run throughout the month:
- Jane’s Walk – May 3 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Free admission
- Wildflowers in Louth – May 17 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Free admission
- Harmony in the Forest Walk – May 31 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Free admission
Interested in participating in a guided walk? Visit Greening Niagara’s website or call the Greening Niagara office at (289) 434-0474.
