Greenbelt Farm to Fork Local Food Celebration

Be sure to come to this deliciously ripe festival toasting the wealth of fresh and nutritious local produce at theEvergreen Brick Works. Activities will start at 11am: Participate in hands-on cooking workshops for kids and adults, be entertained with outdoor theatrical performances, check out the chef cook-offs, pick up heritage legumes and herbs to grow in your garden. Evergreen is an innovative charity that explores the relationship between nature, culture and community in urban spaces. Visit for more information, including a map to the Brickworks. The Don Valley Brickworks is located off of the Bayview Extension (550 Bayview Ave), between the Prince Edward Viaduct (Bloor/Danforth) and Pottery Rd. It is just north of the Bayview exit from the DVP. It is important to note that there is no access to Bayview from Bloor. There is a parking lot to your left when you enter the site. There are two shuttle buses available for this event: A Shuttle bus is available to and from Broadview Station every 1/2 hour from 8.00 am to 4:00 pm. Meet 1/2 block north at Erindale Avenue. The last bus leaves Broadview station at 3:30 pm and the Brick Works at 4:00 pm. A Shuttle bus is available to and from the Loblaws at Bayview Avenue & Moore Avenue every 1/4 hour from 9:45am to 3:30pm. The last bus leaves Loblaws at 3:30 pm and the Brick Works at 4:00 pm.
